Jablanica granite, popularly known as "gabbro", is characterized by exceptional strength, uniform hardness of components, and decorative properties that make it universally applicable in architecture. The mineral composition of the stone enables perfect polishing and high gloss, making it ideal for sculptural and architectural achievements. The great world artist Ivan Meštrović described Jablanica granite as "indestructible, eternal and more durable than the basalt monuments of Nubia and the Egyptian pyramids".
