DRVOPLAST d.d. from Buzet has been operating for 52 years as an established company in PVC product manufacturing. Founded in 1967 by merging Unitas company (established 1948) and Zagreb-based Jadran company's facility, the company was restructured in 1992 into a joint-stock company with mixed ownership.

Wide Range of PVC Products

The company offers over 800 different profiles for construction joinery, furniture industry, facility equipment and various other applications. They specialize in manufacturing PVC granules of different hardness types (soft, semi-hard, hard) for extrusion and injection molding, finding application in almost all industries - from construction, automotive, sanitary equipment manufacturing, refrigeration devices, electrical materials, to railway cars, vessels and retail chains.

Continuous Investment in Technology

Since 2006, the company has significantly invested in technological equipment, especially in PVC granule production. Since 2012, the machinery fleet is continuously renewed, and in early 2015, new production programs using plastic injection molding technology were introduced. In cooperation with Italian company ATTI PLAST from Pieve-Bologna, a know-how acquisition program was implemented, resulting in expanded product range and significant breakthrough into the Italian market.

EU Projects and Modern Equipment

The company actively utilizes EU funds - in 2017, IT equipment was procured using EU fund resources. DRVOPLAST d.d. continuously works on increasing production capacity and diversifying offerings, resulting in higher employment and significant increase in business revenues.
