The studio was established by Amila Terzić, a qualified architect and young professional with extensive experience working at the University of Sarajevo - Faculty of Architecture, experience working on the German market with architects such as Werner Sobek, and in various interior design studios.

The studio has gained international recognition through prestigious awards. In 2024, Control Space was awarded the BIG SEE Interior Design Award for their work on the PlusMinus Studio project. In 2025, the studio was again awarded the BIG SEE Interior Design Award for their work on the Nova Gentleman project for client Jala Brat.
