The Faculty of Architecture at the University of Sarajevo is a prestigious educational institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina specializing in training future architects and urban planners. The faculty conducts architectural studies according to Bologna principles through three educational cycles (3+2+3), aligned with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).

Study Programs and Academic Excellence

The faculty offers a comprehensive approach to education through 12 study programs. The first three-year cycle (180 ECTS credits) leads to the title of Bachelor of Architecture. The two-year second cycle (120 ECTS credits) enables obtaining the title of Master of Architecture - Graduate Engineer of Architecture. The third three-year cycle (180 ECTS credits) leads to a doctoral degree in architecture and urbanism.

International Cooperation and Research

The faculty maintains active cooperation with many higher education institutions worldwide through various programs and bilateral cooperation. Particularly notable is participation in projects such as Mediterranean 4 REGENerative Tourism and Culture MED 4REGEN and knowledge transfer programs from the diaspora. The Institute for Architecture, Urbanism and Spatial Planning provides additional support for research activities and professional development.
